Translating Code Talkers

Language enables us to communicate
We share our stories
Our feelings
Our thoughts
Through words

Vous pouvez dire à vos histoires
Convierte tus garabatos a los sonidos
Teile deine Emotionen durch Worte

Language is the barrier that stops us
From sharing our stories
Our feelings
And our thoughts

Autumn

All the leaves have fallen from the trees
Except for the few brave souls still clinging to
                        Bare branches

Exposed to the winter winds
That are soon and sure to come.
Fall is thought of as a time
                                    When new beginning are abundant

New school year
            New opportunities
                        New people to meet
New start after the warm summer months
                                                But I see autumn for

What it exactly is
            The season where everything
                        Dies.

Trade Baby Blues for Wide Eyed Browns

You’re different
You’re nothing like him
He’s got brown eyes
You have blue
You both mean so much to me
What do I do?
I want to let you in
Give you what you deserve
Let you take my whole heart
But I can’t forget
Those brown eyes
Even when I’m entranced
In your blues

So I'm going through and reading the poems that I wrote from October through about February.  I'm putting only some of them on here because most of them are complete and utter shit

They're Cold

Fingers laced in mine
Palm against palm
Thumb over thumb
Fingers laced in mine
This is my favorite time

Assume Room Temperature

I am at the end of my rope
Ready to bite the dust
I’m okay with being food for worms
Take me to a Texas cake walk
Me and the Grim Reaper are best pals
Let me join the great majority
I want to meet my maker

A haiku about spring

It’s spring time again
My fucking eyes are itchy
I fucking hate spring
