I live in a world of
Verses, Stanzas, Meter,
Rhymes, Metaphors,
Paradoxes, Alliteration,
Imagery, Irony, and Symbol
I escape to this palace of
literature
I can’t handle real life
I thrive in this kingdom of writing
Sometimes it gets so lonely
Because I won’t let anyone else
Into my secret garden of words
But I don’t know how to
Live any other way
